I just read the “clarification” of this post on the original blog. Apparently, what he meant was that he’s pro choice but he wants everyone on the internet to know that he is personally against abortion. So. What he’s saying is “I support your right to choose, but if you get one I’ll judge you for it, not to mention I’m morally superior because I would never get one. Because they’re wrong. But do what you want”. It pisses me off when people say this. No one needs to know your personal feelings about abortion. You are either okay with people getting abortions or you aren’t. What you would personally do doesn’t fucking matter. It’s like saying “I support gay marriage, but I would never get one. Because I’m not gay. And being gay is wrong”. What you would do is irrelevant here.
